Sacramento Train Museum
2005

Three generations of Earls (Robert Earl, James Earl, and Lance Earl) visited the Sacramento Train Museum located in Old Sacramento, CA on January 16th.  The tour started with a 20-minute movie explaining how Sacramento got its first train tracks in place through Donner Summit.  Prior to that, all supplies had to be shipped in by boat, all the way from the East Coast, down around South America, then back up the Pacific Ocean to California.  This would typically take two months.
